Study on Sedimentation Modeling of Reservoir with Irrigation Purpose

The goal of this (the second) year is to develop, test and calibrate a depth-averaged two-dimensional reservoir sedimentation model, and apply it to Ta-Pu Reservoir. According to the historical deposit and sand desilting data, the possible deposition situation of Ta-Pu Reservoir in future can be simulated. In addition, the effect of alleviating the deposition in the reservoir can be estimated, based on the adoption of a new desilting strategy.
