Seismic hazard Analysis and Impact Assessment of Fu-Shan and Fu-Nan Dams

Due to the damage phenomena caused by the 1999 Chi-Chi earthquake, the seismic analysis of earth dam in Taiwan needs to be performed in details. The project aims to re-evaluate the results of seismic hazard analyses done in the stage of feasibility study (1997). The major works include field geology for determining the controlled fault, seismic hazard analysis based on the new controlled fault, stability analysis of reservoir slopes, and recommendation for the future study.
