A Study on the Possibility of Tai-Chung Basin as an Underground-water Reservoir

This project began with a geologic study in order to clarify the formation mechanism of hydrogeology within Taichung Basin and to construct a brief hydrogeologic model for the basin. The project compiled relavant data of hydrogeology, groundwater hydrology, and water quality to study the groundwater conditions in this region. Results from this project may provide useful information for further attempt to treat the whole Taichang Basin as an groundwater reservoir.
