Review and Establishment of Warning Stages under Central Authority in Central, Southern, and Eastern Regions of Taiwan(1/2)

Warning stage is the reference basis for the judgment on the activation of emergent measures; made by the center for typhoon and flood emergency resource and the authorities of river management. Since it is crucial to the civilians’ lives and properties, timely evaluation and revision of the warning stages is necessary. This 2-year project aims to evaluate the warning stages of eight central government controlled rivers, namely the Jhuoshuei River, Puzih River, Bajhang River, Yanshuei River, Erren River, Agongdian River, Gaoping River, and Hualien River. This research emphasizes on six main sections listed below:
